THE SKY IS STILL MINE

"The Sky is [Still] Mine" is a solo exhibition exploring themes of immigration, belonging, familiarity, and adaptability. Inspired by the words of contemporary Persian poet Sohrab Sepehri, the exhibit embodies the sentiment: "Wherever I am, it doesn't matter. The sky is [still] mine!"
In a totally unfamiliar context, surrounded by the skyscrapers, the sky serves as a prominent link to evoke and tie soothing familiar memories of place one felt belonged to the new surroundings!
