BONNIE COLLURA
When it comes to documenting an artwork, lighting will help communicate the artist's visions and ideas. This means each piece of art might need a different lighting setup. For these pieces by Bonnie Collura, I used a hard light in most cases to emphasize the texture and forms of these beautiful artworks. I chose a dark background to help with the contrast, making the work stand out.
Art has long been recognized as a medium for expressing emotions, ideas, and perspectives. Artists throughout history have used their creative endeavors to challenge societal norms, provoke thought, and push the boundaries of what is considered acceptable. One such artist who embodies this spirit of exploration and boundary-pushing is Bonnie Collura.
Bonnie is a contemporary artist known for her thought-provoking installations and mixed-media works. Her art defies easy categorization, as she seamlessly incorporates elements from various disciplines, including sculpture and performance. Collura's work often explores themes of identity, gender, and the human condition, delving into the complex layers of our existence.
Here are some images of the pieces I shot of Bonnie's Fortuna (woman) and Sebastian.
